4 Kid Friendly Yoga Poses

Yoga is a fun exercise that you can teach your little ones to do too! It helps boost mental health along with teaching patience and stretches those little muscles we love so much!

Mountain Pose (Tadasana)

This is a great pose to help to teach excellent posture. And the more you help kids develop good posture. It also gives them solid core strength and helps build the foundation for other yoga poses.

Chair Pose (Utkatasana)

Chair pose helps to strengthen muscles, develop core strength and protect your joints from injury. It also helps your little ones to learn breathing and helps to stretch the shoulders and chest.

Rag Doll Pose (Uttanasana)

Kids tend to think this pose is really funny (because of it’s name). One of the main things that this pose helps with is preventing injury! It allows for the body to really stretch out and typically lets them shake it out and be a little silly.

Tree Pose (Vrkasana)

This is one of the harder poses for children to catch on to because it requires a lot of balance. However it can really help children to calm an active or frustrated mind. It also helps to build an extremely strong base.
